The perennial, Cyclamen, is best grown as a houseplant. They need a humid environment and temperature between 50 and 68 degrees.
Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours before planting. Sow seeds in 3-4 inch well-draining pots. Use compost mixed with grit. Plant about 20 seeds in each pot and cover them with a fine layer of more compost or grit. Put pots in a cool place, 60 F. (15 C.), and cover them completely block the light. Germination can take up to 2 months.
